State-Provided Lockers: A Smarter Step Toward Solving Homelessness in California”

As a proud resident of California, it always bugs me how California and homelessness have become synonymous with each other. What frustrates me even more is how much state funds have been wasted in trying to solve the problem. As a a forward thinker I asked myself how would I solve this issue if I was the govener of California.
I would make lockers, showers, washing, and drying services available to the homeless population. Its not the “perfect” solution but its a massive step in the right direction. Its about the optics. Everyone who lives in this state has the right to have a place for their belongings, and have their basic hygiene meet. The solutions to homelessness are a lot simpler and less expensive than one might imagine. Its about having adequate resources to meet the needs of everyone.
